Experience

Paul T. Lee began his career as Deputy Director in Ministry of Trade & Industry (Korea) after passing the Higher Civil Service Examination 1985. Mr. Lee worked from 1989 to 1999 as an Examiner and as a Director in the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), where he was responsible for examining applications related to digital and analog basic circuitry, logic and pulse switching circuitry, memory circuits in semiconductor chips, and RF communications.

Mr. Lee was also an active member of the Examination Guideline Committee and the Patent Law Revision Committee and headed the Patent Dispute Study Group. Mr. Lee taught courses related to patent law at Yonsei University Graduate Patent Law School, Chungbook University, and the International Intellectual Property Training Institute (IIPTI). Mr. Lee worked for Greenblum & Bernstein 2001-2008. Mr. Lee is President of Washington International Patent Academy (WIPA) and Korea-US IP Foundation (KorusIP), respectively. Mr. Lee is a founding partner of the firm.
